For the chocolate batter:

  • 1 cup (120 grams) of all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (30 grams) of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 packet of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pot of plain yogurt (about 125 ml or 4.2 fl oz)
  • 1 pot of applesauce (about 125 ml or 4.2 fl oz)
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of coconut flower syrup

Note: The “pot” measurements are not precise and may vary depending on the size of the yogurt pot used.

Instructions

  • Make the chocolate batter in one bowl and the plain batter in another by simply mixing all the ingredients together.
  • Pour each batter into a piping bag, then create alternating layers of chocolate and plain batter to make the leopard spots.
  • Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C (or 350°F), or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
